WATKINS GLEN, NY (WENY) -- A popular summer wine event in Watkins Glen has been canceled.

Watkins Glen International on Tuesday announced the cancellation of the FLX Summer Fest; a reason was not given.

The festival was formerly known as the Finger Lakes Wine Festival, a three-day event featuring wine and beer tasting, live music, vendors, and camping at the race track. 

Guess who had purchased tickets or camping for the event will be contacted at the email address associated with the purchase regarding a credit towards a future WGI event, or a refund.
