BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Tanglewood Nature Center and Museum announced on Tuesday, July 1st that it has officially launched a public fundraising campaign to raise $1 million dollars to construct a new Treetop Walkway. Once finished, the hope is the new walkway will not only provide improved education opportunities for local students, but will also serve as a tourism driver for the area. 

According to Tanglewood, they hope to attract birders, artists, photographers, educators, students, and families from the Twin Tiers and beyond. For more information about the project, including how to donate, please visit here.
