    Bitterly cold conditions are expected tonight with temperatures across most of the region in the single digits.  Partly cloudy skies are likely with mainly dry conditions overnight.  Clouds will be on the increase Friday with the chance for late day flurries or snow showers.  Temperatures should warm back up above the freezing mark late this upcoming weekend.

    A fast moving area of low pressure will pass through the Twin Tiers Wednesday night with light snow likely.  Snow will taper towards daybreak Thursday morning with skies becoming partly sunny Thursday.  Total snowfall will range from 1-3" with localized 4" amounts possible.  Plan ahead and give yourself extra time if you need to travel overnight or early Thursday morning.
