New Corning Hospital Breaks Ground
Guthrie's state-of-the-art facility breaks ground in Corning
A little more than two years from now, the empty plot of land off exit 48 on Interstate 86 will be home to the new Corning Hospital.
Wednesday, more than 200 people attended the breaking ground ceremony and New York Lt. Governor Robert Duffy was in attendence for helping the hospital's approval process in Albany.
The new hospital will be located on a 67 acre campus, with an 18,000 square foot facility to house 65 private rooms and state of the art medical equipment.
