Attempted Rape at Cornell University
ITHACA, NY (WENY) -- Cornell University police are investigating another attempted sex assault on campus.
A female student reported she was walking across the Trolley bridge around 9:30 Wednesday night, when a man grabbed her and tried to drag her into the woods... He told her he was going to rape her. The victim struggled with her attacker, hit him and was able to run away wihtout getting hurt.
Police describe the attacker as white, about six feet tall, and thin, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He had dark hair, and appeared to be in his late 30's.
On Labor Day weekend, two female students were attacked, and a woman was raped near the pedestrian suspension bridge. Police believe one man, described as hispanic, is responsible for all three of those attacks. Campus police haven't arrested anoyone at this time.
