Cocaine Bust in Bath
BATH, NY (WENY) -- Another traffic stop in Bath ended with two people under arrest on drug charges.
New York State Police conducting a road check Saturday night say a driver of one vehicle had an open alcoholic beverage, and had a suspended license. Police also say there was cocaine in the vehicle.
The driver, 34-year-old Mario Hentz of Elmira, is now charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, and Having an Open Alcoholic Beverage. Hentz and his passenger, 27-year-old Jerwan McFarley of Rochester, are both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Both men are now in the Steuben County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
