ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- The man accused of a July 5th murder in the city of Elmira was arraigned on the charges this morning.
     Twenty year old Jerell Rollins is charged with 2nd degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and issuing a false written statement. Police say Rollins shot and killed 19-year-old Randy Brooks on July 5th, at Eastgate Apartments in Elmira. A neighbor found Brooks' body on the ground at the apartment complex later that morning.
      Rollins did not enter a plea at today's arraignment... His next court appearance is scheduled for October first.
