Soup’s On Expands
For the first time in the business' existence, the café is now open for dinner on Friday, serves alcohol and offers catering.
Owner Chris Coggins says his faithful and steady clientele makes it possible to expand beyond just lunches. The café offers local beers and wines, a gluten-free menu and most of the popular soups and salads from the previous owner.
"My five year plan is I'd like to open up another one up in Corning," said Coggins. "Because my wife and I live up in Corning, I'd like to open up a Soup's On Café in Corning, and I think it will go quite well up there."
Soup's On Café is open for lunch Monday through Saturday. Right now dinner is just on Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., but will go to three days a week within the next month.
