ROCHESTER, NY (WENY) -- An Elmira man pleaded guilty in federal court to child pornography charges.
     Sixty-one year-old Thomas Mehegan pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of child pornography, and faces up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 fine. Mehegan was arrested in 2010, after state troopers seized his computers and hard drives containing child pornography.
      He was also convicted in county court for unlawful surveillance, for using a hidden camera in his home to record his adult stepdaughter breastfeeding her child.
      He also faces supervision for life, upon his release from prison. Sentencing is scheduled for December.
