Tractor-trailer Accident

Tractor-trailer Turnover
Painted Post (WENY) -- Around 6:30 p.m. Friday, a tractor-trailer overturned, spilling the truck's contents out onto the road.

Officials say the driver lost control while entering a bridge off of Route 15 North to 86 Westbound.

No injuries were reported, but thousands of tiny plastic bottles burst out of the truck on impact scattering everywhere on the scene.

"There was both debris on the accident site as well as the highway below," said Gang Mills Assistant Fire Chief Dan Dillon. "None of that causing any injuries to anyone at all at this point."

Multiple units from the Gang Mills and Painted Post fire departments as well as the state police and D.O.T. were on the scene, cleaning it up within a few hours.
