Waverly (WENY)---A Waverly man was arrested after police say he physically attacked a woman twice in one day.

28-year-old Buck Bates of Waverly is charged with Criminal Obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, Endangering the welfare of a child, and Harrassment.

Police say Bates alleged struck and choked a female victim in front of two children.

The woman returned home after a funeral and Police say Bates attacked the woman again, four hours later.

Bates was arraigned and sent to Tioga County Jail on $2,500 dollars bail.
