Volkswagen Stops Selling Its Popular Cars
(Detroit, MI) Volkswagen leaders have told U.S. dealerships to stop selling some of its top models until they find a fix for a transmission fluid leak found its most popular models. The order covers more than 25,000 Jetta's, Passat's, Beetles and the Beetle convertible models with a 1.8-liter four cylinder engine and automatic transmissions built after February 1st. Volkswagen say they are working with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on how to fix the cars that have been sold. Concerned owners are asked to contact their dealers.
