Attempted Robbery at Ithaca Store

ITHACA (WENY) -- A suspect is still on the loose this morning after trying to rob an Ithaca convenience store.
     According to the Ithaca Police Department, it happened Sunday night around 8:45P.M. at the Bryne Dairy on 215 North Meadow Street.     
     The store employee told police that a man came into the store and demanded money. The employee didn't hand over any money and instead activated the store's panic alarm. The suspect then fled the store on foot. According to police, no weapon was displayed during the incident.
     Ithaca Police describe the suspect as a white male, about 6'5 tall with a medium build. He was reportedly wearing a white t-shirt, sunglasses, a black and white ballcap, and khaki-colored shorts.
