Body Found May be Missing Teen
TOWANDA (WENY) - A body was found over the weekend in Bradford County that may be the missing teen Zamien Benditt-Parkes.
On August 30, 2014 a neighbor of Benditt-Parkes contacted Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda and reported he located the deceased body of a male fitting the description of Benditt-Parkes.
The body was located in a tree, in a wooded area within a quarter mile of Benditt-Parkes' residence. According to State Police, it was approximately 10-15 feet off the roadway but due to heavy foliage it was unable to have been seen from the roadway.
The body has not been positively identified at this time but the family of Benditt-Parkes has been notified. The Bradford county Coroner will positively identify the body at a later time. The apparent cause of death is suicide.
