Gillibrand on State of the Union
SOUTHERN TIER (WENY) -- Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is commending the President for his statements last night.
She says she's happy to see Obama for his focus on middle class economic agenda as well as updating workplace policies for women.
She said it's good he is raising minimum wage for Federal Contractor Workers to $10.10 an hour.
She also made a statement in her press release that says "I hope that with President Obama, and with Democrats and Republicans working together in Congress, we can bring America's outdated workplace polices into the 21st century, and give middle class workers the security they deserve.
