SOUTHERN TIER (WENY) -- President Obama called for a "year of action" in his State of the Union address last night.
WENY talked with Congressman Tom Reed this morning. He said he was pleased with the Presidents lengthy statements on natural gas and natural gas development. He said it's setting a platform for a manufacturing rebirth and the new jobs of today and tomorrow.
But he said he was disappointed with the general theme of 'my way or the highway.'
"If you're truly serious about finding common ground I don't think you need to threaten folks. I think you just need to put the ideas out there, identify where that common ground is and work towards getting to the finish line," said Reed.
Reed also says he's concerned he didn't hear to many solutions from the President on the Affordable Care Act.
