VILLAGE OF HORSEHEADS (WENY) -- CASA of the Southern Tier stopped by our morning show, they're practicing their moves for their ZUMBA THON.
It's this Saturday, February 1st from 9am to noon at the American Legion in Horseheads. All the proceeds go to CASA of the Southern Tier and helping abused and neglected children. The theme this year is SUPERHERO's. Stressing how important it is to be a superhero for a child in need.
Executive Director at CASA, Amy Miller-Plumley said, "finding them (children) a loving, permanent home is really important. I mean it can be the difference."
Jennifer Spencer, Zumba Instructor said, "what better reason, excuse to go spend $20.00 and spend three hours with your friends having a great time and then go out for lunch afterwards. But raise money for such a needed cause in our community.
WENY's Jennifer Sheahen and myself will be suiting up in our superhero outfits and guest judging in the zumbathon this weekend! We hope to see you out there!
