WENY -- A spokesman for presidential candidate Newt Gingrich say he will formally end his campaign next week.

Gingrich pinned his last hopes on a strong showing in Delaware, but Mitt Romney swept all five state primaries yesterday. The former House Speaker spoke with Romney today, and will endorse the likely GOP nominee next week.

This morning, Gingrich told supporters the GOP needs to unite behind Mitt Romney.
