Senate Passes Bill to Change 9/11 Primary Date
Written By: Laura Caso

ALBANY (WENY)---The New York Senate approved a bill that would push the state's September 11th primary elections back two days.
New York City Emergency Personnel requested that political primaries fall on a different day in order to remember those involved in the World Trade center attacks.
Tuesday, the senate agreed to move the date to September 13th.
The assembly is expected to follow suit next week.
