CANDOR N.Y. (WENY) -- A Tioga County New York man is behind bars after police say they found a slew of drugs, guns, paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash.
According to New York State Police, 30-year-old Dustin J. Hover was arrested on December 14th, after a search warrant at 421 Cass Hill Road in the Town of Candor. Police served the warrant to investigate the sale of methamphetamine.
Police say they found 3 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately 3 pounds of marijuana, hyrocodone pills, hydromorphone pills, 2 cell phones, digital scales, and drug packaging materials.
The search also allegedly turned up an AK-47 rifle, and three handguns.
Police say they also seized ammunition, body armor, a baton, a drug ledger, a laptop, and $13,382 in cash.
Hover was charged with:
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
- Criminal possession of marijuana
- Two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia
Hover was arraigned and sent to the Tioga County Jail without bail.
