Clean up efforts continues at Attica train derailment

ATTICA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Clean up efforts continue in Wyoming County where a train derailed yesterday afternoon. 

Around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, a Norfolk Southern train with two locomotive engines and 43 train cars went off the tracks. 

The engineer and conductor were taken in an ambulance to a Buffalo hospital.  The two are still in the hospital as of this afternoon, and are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the derailment has not yet been determined.
