The Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes remains in a Winter Storm Warning throughout Friday until 1AM Saturday Morning.

Expect heavy snow showers at times throughout the day with lower visibility as well. Visibility may be dropped down to a 1/4-1/2 a mile in heaviest bands. Winds will also be blustery, gusting upwards of 35-40 mph throughout the day. Fallen snow may blow upwards due to windy conditions. Snowfall continues to accumulate across the area, especially for those in higher terrain. Expect up to 12-15" possible for those in higher elevations/western sections and those whose snow started late day yesterday. For those in lower terrain/Valley/eastern locations expect 6-10" by the time snow showers start to wind down. Snowfall rates may equal or exceed 1" per hour.

Keep in mind roads may be very dangerous especially for those in higher elevations, and that scattered power outages may occur across the area.
