BATH, N.Y. (WENY) -- Steuben County Health officials are looking for volunteers for a public health preparedness drill.
A similar drill was held back in 2015. The Steuben County Health Department is holding the drill to simulate the mass exposure to a virus that requires a vaccine.
They need volunteers to help responders practice in the event of a real catastrophe. They looking for at least 150 "patients", and the event will be held on April 10th at the Haverling High School gymnasium from 1-3pm.
If you want to register to be a mock patient, that info will be released the week of the event.
Officials say no actual medicine will be given out during the drill.
