(WENY) - Law enforcement in Pennsylvania will be cracking down on distracted drivers as part of their "U Drive. U Text. U Pay." campaign from April 12th to April 16th.
Police say distracted driving takes on many forms, such as talking on the phone, adjusting the radio, applying makeup, eating or drinking. Police say the most common and distracting form is texting while driving.
Pennsylvania State Police is partnering with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the campaign to raise awareness about the deadly risks of texting while driving.
