Ithaca Police Investigating Reported Robbery of Delivery Man

ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) – The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a reported robbery that happened in the 200 block of South Geneva Street.

According to police, officers spoke to a victim who said he was delivering food when a man approached him on the sidewalk on July 5. 

The man then reportedly demanded the victim turn over all his money.

The victim, afraid for his safety, gave the suspect his money and the suspect fled on foot Northbound on South Geneva Street.

The victim was unharmed.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'5” tall, stocky build, short black hair, light facial scruff, and at the time of the incident was reportedly wearing a white or gray tee shirt and blue jeans.
