Local Hector Businesses Showcase What They Have to Offer

HECTOR, N.Y. (WENY) -- Overlooking Seneca Lake today, Hector Handmade and the Hector Wine Company partnered up to host "Hector Has it All". Serving as one of the kickoffs to Twin Tiers Travel Blogger Exchange Week, the event held on the grounds of the Lilly Family Farm was also an opportunity to show off what the local businesses in Hector have to offer, along with showcasing the new art collection from local watercolor artist Lisa Baechtl.

A winemaker from Hector Wine Company, Alexandra Bond said, "We have been collaborating for a long time. We wanted to show how amazing this community is up here. So, by having art, music, wine, beer, and food, we can do all that in one place, and this was the perfect place to do it."

Hector Handmade Co-Owner Jennie Scarbrough added, "We were really excited to help supply a narrative to the TBEX attendees that are coming to our region. We wanted to help give them an easy way to see everything that we are doing here. Our main goal is to showcase everything being made here in the region, including everything in our shop which is made by our hands and our hearts."

The combination of local artisan food, wine, music, and artwork definitely made for a winning combination for those who stopped by today in Schuyler County.
