UPDATE: New York State Police have released a composite of the man involved in a possible attempted kidnapping.

TOWN OF ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- New York State Police are looking for tips regarding a possible attempted kidnapping in the Town of Ithaca. According to State Police in Ithaca, they're currently investigating the matter as a suspicious incident.
Troopers say that the reported incident happened back on August 29th in front of the Trinity Lutheran Church on Honness Lane around 3:00 pm.
A teenage girl was walking on the sidewalk when a car allegedly drove up to her, and the driver, a man, got out of the car. The man then grabbed the teen by the arm and tried to pull her towards him, but she was able to break free and take off. But the driver tried chasing her down, but never caught back up with her.
State Police say the car was described as a white Toyota Highlander SUV, possibly an older model. The man is described as being white, about 6'2", with brown or red short hair and a beard -- with no mustache.
