SOUTH CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Hornell man was sent to jail after police say he was arrested in South Corning with a slew of drugs.
The Steuben County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Steven Carpenter was found with meth, fentanyl, clonazepam, alproazolam, pot, digital scales, and $500 cash.
Carpenter was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh and third degree.
Police say they made the bust after getting a report of a suspicious person in South Corning. Carpenter was sent to the Steuben County Jail on $10,000.
