The Elmira Pioneers rallied late but fell just short to the Jamestown Tarp Skunks on Wednesday night, 4-3. Elmira falls to 4-7 and are scheduled to travel to Newark on Thursday.

It was a matchup full of local talent at Dunn Field on Tuesday. The Elmira Pioneers beat the Mansfield Destroyers, 8-5 in a non-league game. Elmira will host Jamestown on Wednesday while Mansfield travels to Cortland.

The Elmira Pioneers took down Team Canada in game one of their three game exhibition series by the score of 14 to 9 on Thursday. The Pios and Team Canada will return to action at Dunn Field on Friday at 7:05 PM. 

Two Elmira Pioneers pitchers earned All-PGCBL honors.  Starting pitcher Mason Hazelwood was selected to the All-First Team.  Relief pitcher Jake Dippold made the All-Second Team.
