High pressure over southern Canada will build into the region over the next several days, which will keep our weather on the pleasant side with mostly sunny skies and seasonably mild temperatures.  Not much will change through the week, but temperatures will warm by late week and especially through the weekend.  No rain is forecast through Sunday!

A cold front will pass through the Twin Tiers Saturday morning with scattered showers likely.  Rainfall amounts will be relatively light with most areas only expecting up to 0.10" of rain.  Partial clearing will develop Saturday afternoon.  Drier conditions are likely on Sunday with afternoon temperatures into the upper 70s.

Today, we will see a mix of sun and clouds as our next storm system begins to approach the region, but will these showers effect your nightly plans? The answer is no, shower activity is not expected to move into the region until late tonight. Around 4am-5am. What a difference a day makes!  After topping out at 90 degrees Wednesday afternoon, a cold front has settled through the region with temperatures Thursday afternoon 20 to 30 degrees cooler!  Scattered showers associated with the front continue to push to our south with mainly dry conditions expected on Friday.  Temperatures on Friday will remain below average with highs near 70.  A warming trend will follow over the weekend with highs by Sunday in the upper 70s.

Temperatures Wednesday afternoon climbed well into the 80s across the Twin Tiers with a couple of spots right around 90.  The heat index values rose into the low and mid 90s as the humidity levels were also high.  A cold front will drop through the region tonight with showers and thunderstorms followed by cooler conditions on Thursday.
