Day two of the Moving Wall in Tioga brought many new faces who all had a special reason to come and see the display. The replica display traveling the country is giving people the chance to visit it locally and honor those who served.
The Moving Wall Arrives in Tioga, Pennsylvania
The Opening Ceremonies are over, but the Moving Wall is here to stay for the next few days in Tioga, Pennsylvania. The Moving Wall arrived at Williamson High School around 9 a.m., with 200-300 motorcyclists escorting it to its new temporary home.
Volunteers Wanted for The Moving Wall in Tioga County
Volunteers are needed to help with the event, from assisting visitors with finding names on the wall, to security. Also needed are people willing to help read the more than 58,000 names on the wall, which will be read aloud during the wall's visit.

A Vietnam veteran from the Elmira area was honored in the House of Representatives in a speech on the House floor. Larry Sherman is the President of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 803. He also leads the Chemung County Honor Guard.
