CORNING, NY (WENY) -- Corning police arrested three people following the discovery of a meth lab Wednesday morning.

Officers were called for a report of criminal trespassing in progress at a property on East 5th Street in Corning. There, they discovered a working methamphetamine lab in a garage.

Three people were arrested; 42-year-old James Carson of Corning, 26 year old Eric Graham, no known address, and 37-year-old Todd Speicher, no current address. All three are charged with third degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Carson is also charged with resisting arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Police say Graham and Speicher also had active warrants out of the City of Corning court.

All three men were arraigned and sent to the Steuben County jail, and are scheduled to be back in Corning City court at a later date. 

Coring police were assisted on scene by NYSP's CCERT team, Steuben County Sheriff's Office, AMR Ambulance and the City of Corning Fire Department.

Police say the investigation is continuing and more charges are possible.
