Dry Spell Ends Late Day/Early Evening
Today will start off dry with peaks of sun. As a cold front approaches, clouds will increase throughout the afternoon with showers arriving late day and early evening. Expect low rainfall amounts, with totals near a tenth of an inch. Temperatures will start off fairly chilly, but then will bump into the upper 40s by the end of the day. Winds will also be gusty at times out of the south, with sustained winds ranging from 6 to 11 mph and gusts in the lower 20s.
Tonight rain tapers. There will still be a few scattered showers around, but they should be gone overnight Thursday into Friday morning. Low temperatures will drop into the mid 30s, providing the potential for a wintry mix.
