For all Counties Shaded in light Blue: Today expect on-and-off snow, and mixed precipitation. Slippery road conditions possible. Only 1 to 2 inches of snow through mid day, but then snow squalls possible this afternoon with low visibility and abrupt snow covered roads. After that, lake effect snow showers tonight through Wednesday, bringing an additional 2 to 4 inches of snow.
Winds will gust as high as 35 mph from late today through tonight, and especially Wednesday. This will cause some blowing and drifting snow.
Expect periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
