This Thursday will remain fairly dry with unseasonably warm temperatures through the day, but rain is tracking in late tonight. The rain is expected to continue throughout this evening into Friday, and then switch over from rain to an icy mix late Friday overnight into Saturday. As we are expecting moderate to heavy pockets of rain at times, areas around the Twin Tiers could see accumulation up to 1-2" of liquid precipitation possible, with higher amounts possible (2-3") in some locations. As a reminder a Flood Watch is still in effect until Saturday evening, as rivers, lakes and watersheds begin to collect this precipitation and ice continues to melt, water levels will continue to rise and could create localized flooding across the area.
