If your headed out the door early this morning, be sure to take your time on the roads. The Twin Tiers received a dusting to about an inch of snowfall, with additional frozen areas of ice as well especially on untreated surfaces. Also, allot yourself an extra 10-15 minutes to include clearing your car of any extra snow or ice that may have accumulated and to warm it up for the drive! If traveling by foot, walking to and from your destination may take extra time especially early this morning.

Throughout the day peaks of frigid sunshine will be revealed with temperatures staying mainly in the upper teens. A few flurries or light snow showers may also be expected off of the Great Lakes with breezy conditions out of the northwest at times. Make sure you bundle up this Friday, as winds may make it feel more like the single digits at times!
