As low pressure continues to move in from the west the chance for precipitation will grow throughout the day with mostly cloudy sky expected. Showers also may be mixed, especially early on this morning resulting in slippery surfaces. Early freezing drizzle may create areas of patchy black ice across the area. Ice accumulation may be as high as a tenth of an inch for some. Through the day showers will transition to mainly rain, becoming scattered throughout late day with highs near 44. Showers taper throughout the overnight with clouds and lows near 36.

Throughout the weekend showers hold off for a bit Saturday with temperatures in the middle 40s and cloudy sky. By late day showers move back into the area, and look to continue for Sunday as well. Temperatures Sunday will be a bit warmer, maxing out into the mid to upper 50s through the afternoon.
