Man Arrested in Corning After Multi-State Crime Spree
CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- A man wanted in a multi-state crime spree has been arrested in Steuben County.
61-year-old Donald Fike was arrested Thursday, April 12 by New York State Police in Corning.
He is currently wanted in Arizona for violating parole and Oklahoma for theft. He is also wanted in New York -- for allegedly stealing a purse in Dickinson and allegedly smashing a vehicle window in a Vestal parking lot.
According to police, Fike has addresses in Florida, Arizona and once lived in Binghamton.
He was pulled over in Corning while driving a car with a stolen Florida license plate.
He faces two charges of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, once in the Third Degree and another in the Fourth Degree. Police added that additional charges are expected from the Vestal Police Department, the Broome County Sheriff's Department and the Pennsylvania State Police.
Fike is currently in Steuben County Jail.
