Grab the umbrella this morning-we are expecting some rain today!

As we head through you early morning commuting hours the chance for rain increases. Showers may be scattered at times with clouds and temperatures starting in the 50s. Heading through the afternoon, we are tracking another round of rain that may produce some thunderstorms. The main threat with these storms being stronger winds and heavier down pours at times. Rainfall locally across the Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes may range from a half of an inch to roughly an inch, with locally higher amounts possible if a thunderstorm occurs. Highs will rise near seasonable levels hitting the lower 70s by the end of the day. Showers and storms may linger through the overnight with clouds and lows sitting in the middle 50s.
