Corning man arrested for allegedly threatening students
CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) - A corning man has been charged by police for allegedly threatening students at a McDonald's restaurant.
According to the city of Corning Police Department, 18-year-old Dante Sellers has been charged with 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon and menacing in the second degree. Police say, Sellers allegedly swung a knife, making threats towards students who were on a field trip last Saturday, June 2nd. Police have also confirmed that Sellers allegedly followed the students back to their school bus and was making offensive gestures in front of students.
According to officials, Sellers is scheduled to appear in the City of Corning Court on Tuesday, June 12th.
