A cloudier day in store for the Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes with a few scattered showers and pops of sunshine.

Through the day low pressure will slide by just to our south. Locally rain is expected to be light across the area and quite spotty at times. Cloud cover will also be a big factor in today's forecast, as a few pops or peeks of sunshine are not completely ruled out through the day. Temperatures are expected to sit in the mid 70s, but if those clouds break a bit more in a few locations, temperatures may have the ability to rise in the upper 70s becoming more seasonable. However, for most, the area will be settled under thick cloud cover keeping temperatures a bit lower than the usual for this time of year.

Tonight clouds will be on the decrease through the overnight with low temperatures falling into the low to mid 50s.
