Scattered thunderstorms are possible throughout the day today with hazy sunshine. Showers and storms may be heavy at times, and may produce flooding. A Flash Flood Watch goes into effect at noon and continues through late tonight for Potter and Tioga County PA. If flooding occurs turn around, and do not drive through water. Also, be sure to see if your home may be prone to flood risk and have an action plan in place in the event of a flash flood.

Through the afternoon it will still stay hot and humid. Highs will range from the mid 80s to the low 90s with high dewpoint temperatures in the lower 70s. Real feel temperatures will feel more like the mid 90s during peek heating times. Tonight as a cold front approaches the chance for showers and storms lingers for the Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes. This may continue into early Friday morning.
