Early this morning a cold front continues to move through the area starting off the day with a few showers and storms. Throughout the day the area will be awaiting a second cold front that will bring another potential round of showers and thunderstorms that may contain gusty winds. small hail and heavy rain. As of now most of the viewing area stays at a non-severe risk level, with eastern portions of the viewing area in a marginal risk for severe storm formation. 

For areas that have already experienced flooding earlier this week, heavy rain in a stronger storm may promote more flooding and gusty winds may uproot trees or power lines in saturated soils. Stick with us for any watches, warnings or alerts that may get issued! 

Tonight a storm may linger, but overnight sky should dry out with clouds and lows in the mid to upper 50s.
