The National Weather Service continues with a Flash Flood Watch in our region through noon on Tuesday.  Heavy rainfall overnight could result in flash flooding, especially along streams and creeks.  It's especially important to be vigilant at night if traveling, as flooding may be hard to recognize.  If you do encounter a flooded roadway, turn around.  Just 12" of moving water could carry away a small vehicle with 18-24" of water enough to move a larger SUV.  Drier conditions will arrive Tuesday morning with some sunshine expected during the afternoon.
