UPDATE (6:30) : According to New York State Police, the situation that led to multiple road closures around State Route 115 and I-99 is over and the roads are open.

According to NYSP Captain George Delnagro, the individual in question was found in a Kuhl Road home, dead of an apparent suicide.

Delnagro said earlier in the day, the suspect reportedly called Steuben County 911, sparking the emergency response.

CERT, SWAT, New York State Police and the Steuben County Sheriff's Office were all on scene.

Delnago said the reason for the response was because they were unsure what to expect.

The individual's name is not being released at this time.

As of right now, it is still currently unclear whether or not this incident is related to the hit and run in the North Lawrence Township that occurred early this morning.
