As low pressure continues to snake from the southwest through the northeast today, showers will stay likely.

Thursday periods of rainfall will be expected as well as mostly cloudy sky. Daytime highs will generally stay in the mid to upper 40s, but we are starting relatively mild this morning with temperatures sitting in the mid 50s in some locations. Through the evening showers remain possible.

Warmer air and another early maximum temperature should arrive late tonight into early Friday as another low pressure system sweeps through. This will bring the potential for some stronger, heavier rain and even a rumble or two of thunder. Through the afternoon rainfall should dry out a bit, with the possibility of a peek or two of sun.

As a coastal system moves into the area, showers will remain possible on Saturday as well with highs rising in the middle 40s across the Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes Region.
