As a more relaxed weather pattern settles in this Thursday, low pressure will start to move in just in time for the weekend!

That means we'll be continuing to track the chance for steady rainfall through Saturday afternoon continuing overnight into Sunday. This may impact local events like Dickens of a Christmas in Wellsboro 9AM to 4PM Saturday/10AM Sunday, the Food Bank of the Southern Tiers Selfless Elf 5k in Horseheads starting at 3PM Saturday and Sparkle in Corning from 5-9PM Saturday night. Plan to have your rain gear at the ready especially for the later half of the day, as clouds continue to build early on Saturday. Highs are expected to be slightly warmer, rising near 40 throughout the afternoon but long sleeves and a coat are still recommended.

Tune back in for the latest through the rest of this week!
