Heading out the door today, scattered light rain and snow mix is expected as a weaker system moves in from the west. With starting temperatures this morning in the lower 30s and upper 20s, some of this mix may freeze upon contact with untreated surfaces. With a glaze of ice possible this morning especially in Potter and Tioga Counties in the northern tier, the National Weather Service will continue their Winter Weather Advisory until 1PM today for those counties. Through the afternoon the chance for light drizzle and flurries continues with clouds as highs rise near 37.

Throughout the overnight most should dry out again with clouds and low temperatures sinking into the upper 20s.
