WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WENY) – After months of speculation, the Rolling Stone has confirmed that Woodstock's 50th anniversary festival will be coming to Watkins Glen in August.

The festival will take place from August 16-18. The Rolling Stone reports organizers won't release the specifics until tickets go on sale February, but they do say over 40 performers have already been booked.

Organizers say they are still mapping out the site and haven't settled on an exact capacity, but he says it'll likely “be in the six figures”.

Other details that have been released is that they will livestream the even online, bring in clowns and jugglers to roam the grounds, play movies and bring in various speakers to tell attendees how to get involved in various political causes.
