CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) - The Corning Museum of Glass and The Rockwell Museum are offering free admission to federal government employees during the partial shutdown.

Through the end of the shutdown, both The Corning Museum of Glass and The Rockwell Museum will offer free admission for each federal employee and one adult guest when they show their government ID at the admissions desks. Adult admission tickets normally cost $20 at CMoG and $11.50 at The Rockwell.

The offers give federal government employees access to museum programs, including Hot Glass Demos and science and technology displays at CMoG, and special exhibitions Curious and Curiouser: Surprising finds from the Rakow Library at CMoG, and Antigravity! Through the Thread by Crystal Gregory at The Rockwell.

This is the last chance to see both exhibitions, they close in February.
